Donna Amtsberg, LCSW, Director, Family Violence Center, Northwest Assistance Ministries

Donna will be offering an overview of the Family Violence Center including the services they offer, challenges faced, why she stays, research, trends and how BPW can help.

Donna Amtsberg has a B.S. degree in Psychology from the University of Houston. She has her clinical license and a Masters degree in Social Work from the Graduate School of Social Work at the University of Houston, and is a Certified Family Education Specialist and is certified in Critical Incident Stress Management.

Donna is an Adjunct Professor at The Coleman College for Health Sciences with the Houston Community College System, as well as an Advisory Council member for Houston Community College’s Human Services Technology Programand a member of the Child Advocacy Advisory Committee.
